Slot Features

The game offers something called 10-spin cycle mechanics which has become really popular, especially notable in a couple of slot games that have been released later. Besides that, the game is armed with Scatters, Wilds, and features such as Free Spins, and Multipliers.

As we’re already used to, the Scatters will trigger the Free Spins round, and the Wild can help form winning combos by substituting for all the symbols in the game except the Scatter.

Flaming Frames

This feature is a part of the 10-spin cycle mechanic which has a Spins meter set just above the reels so you can keep track of it. Each Sun symbol that lands on the reels during one cycle will leave a Flaming Frame behind it, sticky to the position where the Sun symbol landed. Once the 10-spin cycle ends, the Flaming Frames will turn into Wild symbols and then award the wins. Once that happens, the Spins meter will reset back to 0 and restart the cycle.

Winning Multipliers

Sun symbol cannot only leave Flaming Frames, but it can also add a progressive win multiplier. When a Sun lands within an existing stick frame, a multiplier will get awarded, and if it happens the second time, the multiplier of the particular frame will increase by x1. Each new occurrence of the Sun symbol within an existing Frame will increase that frame’s multiplier value.

Free Spins

Scatters can appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, and once you hit 3 of them on those reels, you will trigger the Free Spins feature and get 10 spins to begin the round. There will be no Flaming Frames active, and instead you can expect that each Sun symbol will immediately transform into a Wild. If a Sun lands into the same cell with the Wild, it will grant x1 multiplier. Wilds, however, will stick to their cells until the Free Spins round ends.

Summary

Solar King is pretty interesting slot game but features a pretty unimaginative theme, however, overall, has a decent design. What we liked about the game were the Free Spins round with progressive multiplier. Now, with feature like this one, we would really like if they had offered higher RTP than 95.45%, but seems like the low RTP did not prevent the game to have some good return rates. All things considering, there is nothing to spectacular about this game, but you can still give it a few spins and let us know how you liked it.
